Wooden Insulators, Display Cases
and More!
Mark and Elaine Corriero
About our Wooden Insulators

All of our wood turnings are finely sanded, coated with Danish
Oil and finished with 3 - 5 coats of lacquer, with additional
sanding between each coat of lacquer to ensure the best finish
possible. Every insulator we produce is a full size replica of the
original insulator. Each is unique due to the different
grain patterns that emerge in each finished piece. None of the
insulators we produce have stain applied - each is given clear
lacquer to allow the natural beauty of the wood to show through.
Each piece is signed and dated, and none are threaded, so they
cannot be confused with an actual insulator that ever saw service on
a pole. These wooden insulator replicas have been approved by the
National Insulator Association.
Special orders are accepted and encouraged. If you'd like a
specific CD, wood or even a particular CD made smaller or larger
than actual size, just ask! If it's something we can do, we're happy
to fill your needs. We have worked with several "CD collectors" to
fill spaces on pieces that they're missing from their collection.
Let us fill those holes in YOUR collection!
Are you hosting a swap meet or a show? Talk to us about producing
awards trophies for your next event. We've filled orders for several
shows, and we're happy to help make your next show a special one!

About our Shipping Policy
We will ship anywhere! Actual shipping charges will be applied to
each order based on your purchase, and insurance is optional. Your
satisfaction is 100% guaranteed! If you are not happy with your
purchase, whether your purchase is wood or glass, we will gladly
accept a return and refund your money, less shipping costs. (see
special note below about shipping for display cases)
About our Display Cases

All display cases produced are made to your specifications, and
can be delivered (within a 300 mile radius of Park Forest, IL - with
the recipient responsible for travel expenses and no charge for
travel time or set up), available for pickup, or special
arrangements can be made for shipping on smaller units. A variety of
lumber is available, and each case built uses 5,000K, 86 Color
Rendering Index daylight bulbs for true color rendering, and white
sign-grade acrylic for the backs. Glass shelves are available, but
wood and acrylic are other options. We will work with you to fit
your space, design and budget requirements!
